VIDEO: Northeastern Baptist College – Mission Possible

We were blessed this month to travel to Vermont to help Northeastern Baptist College produce a new, four-minute promotional video. It is a great encouragement to see the way God continues to work in Vermont. Hope you can get involved too.

TRAINING VIDEO: Mission Team Training Boston

When you come and serve the church planters of New England and Greater-Boston, you become part of God’s story in one of the most influential and least-reached places in North America.

And to be most effective in the field, teams need to prepare.

This training video takes you right into the thoughts and needs of the planters, and those they are trying to serve.

If you are already coming to serve a plant in New England or Boston, we pray this training serves you well. Use it in your first team meeting or even in your informational meetings.

And if you are still just thinking about whether God would use you to bring a team up here, we pray this video will help you get to a firm decision, whatever that decision is.

We have hundreds of teams coming throughout the year. They are a tremendous help to our work here. Get involved. Contact Joe Souza – Boston Church Planting – (617) 259-4638.

VIDEO: Firehouse Church Planting with Tony in Stony Creek, NY

Published on the Hudson Baptist Association’s www.HBANY.net

Tony Lomenzo was looking for a house. The volunteer firehouse found a pastor.

Such is life and God’s design for Stony Creek and other small towns in the Adirondacks.

Could God be calling you to a rural ministry in the Hudson Valley?

VIDEO: A New Day in Tampa Bay Church Planting

Tampa, FL is well-known for a lot of things. We have hosted some Super Bowls. We have fantastic sunshine, and some of the best beaches in the world.

What is maybe less known is how incredibly diverse the Tampa area is. With its very roots traced to Cuban cigar rollers and Italian immigrants, Tampa is called the Cigar City.

We are are also among the nation’s leaders in the number of strip clubs per capita, and plastic surgeries.

But did you know, Tampa is great need of healthy churches? As Pastor Ken Whitten of Idlewild Baptist Church in Tampa recently said, “Tampa is a city in the South, but it’s not even close to being a southern city where the gospel has been saturated.”

The Tampa Bay Baptist Association has a vision for doing just that; not so much making Tampa a southern city, but saturating it with the gospel of Jesus Christ.

And the most effective way to accomplish that is through church planting.

Could God be calling you to help us plant new churches here. Could he be calling you to help us re-plant and revitalize churches  here?

We hope you will watch the video (above) and contact us.

Special thanks to pastors Ken Whitten, Justin Perry, Bruce Moore, George Thomasson, Stephen Rummage,  Joel Vicente, Quincy Stratford and Drew Tucker for their participation.

Tampa Pastors talk about becoming church planting churches

Answering the Sending Call: Church Planting Churches in Tampa Bay

In partnership with the Tampa Bay Baptist Association, CERICDigital and Boe Ellis are pleased to announce today the release of a new church planting site at www.TampaBayChurchPlanting.com.

The project includes multiple videos, a new blog and a profile of target areas in Tampa.

Featured above  is a 12-minute piece casting vision for the Association’s church planting churches initiative.

Our Association has a vision for Tampa becoming a prolific church planting hub that embraces the Great Commission by equipping and sending out church planters around the world (Acts 1:8).

We pray we can help you be a part of this vision.

A few of our pastors are praying and pressing ahead toward this vision. And it was our privilege earlier this year to sit down with a handful of these pastors to ask them to share some encouragements and insights.

Special thanks to Ken Whitten, Justin Perry, Bruce Moore, George Thomasson, Stephen Rummage,  Joel Vicente, Quincy Stratford and Drew Tucker for their participation.

VIDEO: Hanging with Paul in Whitehall

Church Planters are a different breed. They are supposed to be the guys who kick-start a ministry with high activity and community involvement. Don’t tell that to Paul Shepherd.

As the relatively new pastor of a 25+/- year-old church in Whitehall, NY, Shepherd is using the principles church planters use, and he is using them out of the same sense of need. “We have a great church here,” he said. “It was a great foundation. And what I wanted to do is turn our focus outward. Through evangelism and outreach, we are getting our people excited about the gospel, and people are getting saved and getting them baptized.”

The video featured here (click the image above) was shot in November, 2014. Thanks for watching.

Exploring New Hampshire Church Planting: new regional videos online

In partnerships with Sean Simonton and the North American Mission Board we are pleased to release today a series of new videos highlighting four different church planting regions in New Hampshire

With interviews and footage acquired in November-December, 2013, we have rolled out our regional videos in tandem with our new Website at www.nhchurchplanting.com:

With so many opportunities in the different parts of New Hampshire, we hope you will check out what God is doing here in the Live-Free-or-Die state. And as a great next step, I hope you will call me, Sean Simonton, or Rich Clegg of the NHBA to start a conversation about how God might use you here.

Look for more videos to come out of this special project. We pray God will use it to call more people to our state and to encourage our existing pastors to raise up new leaders and plant new works here.

Thanks to all who contributed to make this type of work possible: Rich Clegg, George Jackman, Bob Kruger, Kevin Fortier, Jeff Christopherson and many others.
